NGC PF65 | George III (1760-1820), Pattern Sixpence, 1787, by Lewis Pingo, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, semée of hearts, six strings to harp, edge plain, 1h (Bull 2212; ESC 1640; cf. Spink 3748), a delightful pattern with rich cabinet tone, the reverse with mint flaring, practically as struck and very rare, only 168 reportedly issued, in NGC holder, graded PF65 (Cert. #2776147-004)
