NGC MS64 | George III (1760-1820), 'New Coinage', Halfcrown, 1817, Type 2, laureate head right, rev. crowned shield in Garter, edge milled, 11h (Davies 60; Bull 2096; ESC 618; Spink 3789), a handsomely honest example, even for this commonly encountered coin, faint handling wisps in otherwise lustrous and mint fresh surfaces, much as struck, in early NGC holder, graded MS64 (Cert. #2786427-013)
