NGC MS62 | George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1727, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, small lettering, rev. re-entered S in S R I, crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h (Bull 1727 albeit six strings not noted; ESC 1190; Spink 3698), lightly toned, a well-balanced example, extremely fine, scarce in this grade, in NGC holder, graded MS62 (Cert. 6296881-017)
