NGC AU58 | William and Mary (1688-1694), Shilling, 1693 over 0, laureate and draped bust right, stop after GRATIA, rev. crowned cruciform shields, seven strings to harp, monogram in angles, obliquely milled edge, 6h (Bull 868/867a; ESC 1076; Spink 3437), flaw to French shield and light mottled tone over slightly crystalline reverse surfaces, otherwise the portrait nicely struck up for type, uniformally toned, a really bold very fine, the overdate apparent, in NGC holder, graded AU58 (Cert. #5880346-008)
