REX, no stops by m.m. or after CAROLVS, second bust left, wearing ruff, value behind, rev. (m.m.) FLORENT CONCORDIA REGNA, no stops on reverse, crowned square-topped shield, 9.12g, 1h, m.m. castle (Schneider II, 123; North 2148; Spink 2690), slight flan furl a minor scuff by BR and tiny metal flaws in field, otherwise a truly splendid example, made all the more remarkable as a soil find, struck with a rusty reverse die, lustrous a most pleasing good very fine
