(m.m.) DEI 'x G : R : AGLIE 'x Z : FRANC ': DNS hIBERNIE, Roman lettering, crowned shield, fields plain, 3.68g [56.6grns], 4h, m.m. rose (Lockett 3220 same reverse die; Schneider I, 587ff; North 1788; Spink 2273), some friction on crown, otherwise an intriguing Lombardic / Roman lettering mule, slightly bright but residually lustrous with occasional tone, magnificently uniform on a neat round flan, an exceptional specimen for issue, extremely fine and very seldom encountered in this condition
