Charles II (1660-1685), Crown, 1662, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. stop by HIB, crowned shields cruciform, early quartered shields, ten strings to harp, DECVS ET TVTAMEN upwards on edge, 29.84g, 6h (Bull 340; ESC 15A; Spink 3350), some faint adjustment to portrait and a small planchet clip at 11 o'clock, otherwise a lovely example of this notoriously 'soft' issue, lightly toned, near extremely fine / good very fine
