A very complete campaign group of four awarded to Corporal F. Goodwin, Suffolk Regiment, who was killed in action on 9 June 1915

Frederick Goodwin was born in 1885 and served in France with the 2nd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment from 27 December 1914. He was killed in action on 9 June 1915 and is buried in the Ypres Town Cemetery Extension. His Medals were issued to his wife, Mabel, of 142 New Road, Chatham, whilst she was working at the Medway Infirmary in October 1920.

Sold together with his Great War Memorial Scroll in the name of 'Cpl. Frederick Goodwin Suffolk Regt.', besides forwarding letters for the Medals and Imperial War Graves Commission letters, besides a locket with his image and that of their daughter.
