Jones.); Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service Medal, G.V.R. (Rfm. Stuart Champion. Jones, Ceylon Planters Rifle Corps); Ceylon Volunteer Service Medal (R. C. Jones), the first three mounted as worn, minor edge bruising overall, very fine (4)

Stuart Champion Jones is noted on the roll of the City of London Imperial Volunteers as having been issued with a replacement Q.S.A. on 20 February 1923. He served during the Great War in India with the Ceylon Planters' Rifle Corps, Jones was later commissioned into the Royal Welsh Fusiliers as 2nd Lieutenant and promoted Lieutenant. His Medals were issued to Cottagalla Estate, Gampola, Ceylon.
