The only Cape of Good Hope General Service Medal named to the Southeyville Levies and one of just 26 named to the Levies according to the Roll assembled by Martin Wagner.

George Fenix was the Second-in-Command of the Cala Mounted Native Levies from December 1900-March 1902, under Lieutenant-Colonel E. H. Hogge. His Medal is uniquely named to a Major.
