Confirmed upon the Roll with entitlement to this Medal and clasps; additionally entitled to the King's South Africa Medal with clasps 'South Africa 1901' and 'South Africa 1902'. Some 422 members of the 1st Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment participated in the Defence of Kimberley.
