Confirmed upon the Roll with entitlement to this Medal and Clasp, one of five Troop Sergeant-Majors of the Frontier Mounted Rifles. The Roll also notes the recipient as one of two members of the East London Engineers, with entitlement to the Medal and Clasp '1878'.
