(x) India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp, North West Frontier 1935 (3309309 Pte. J. Cooke, H.L.I.), traces of lacquer, very fine

John Cooke, a native of Londonderry, was born in 1910 and served on the North West Frontier with the Highland Light Infantry (City of Glasgow Regiment). He died at home on 14 June 1940 and is buried in the Londonderry City Cemetery.
