MS64 | George V (1910-1936), Halfcrown, 1915, bare head left, rev. crowned Garter shield, edge milled, 12h (Bull 3714; Spink 4011), a truly majestic example of this issue, even for this, the most populous date extant, a rich velvet-like lustre cloaked by purplish-grey hues, a most pleasing and true good extremely fine, seldom encountered with so proud a portrait strike, in NGC holder, graded MS64 (Cert. #6135259-004)
