Great Britain: Manchester Exchange, one share, #14, Manchester 18[12], lovely engraved piece with vignette of the exchange building at top, black. This is a new piece to the market of the first type with the vignette different from the better known pieces from the early 1830's. This new Exchange for the cotton industry was designed in 1809 and opened in the same year. It was extended in 1849 but replaced in 1867 by a larger building, with the largest trading hall in the country. VF and only 2 known [R11].
