Great Britain: Anglo-Japanese Agency Ltd., £1 shares, 190[8], #24, ornate piece with coloured flags of Great Britain and Japan, ornate border, blue. The Anglo Japanese alliance was signed in 1902 and renewed in 1905 and 1911. A proposal for the Japan British Exhibition was made in 1908 and finally it took place in 1910 in London. We cannot find any information about the company but assume it was a trading organisation between the two countries. VF and rare.
