Great Britain: Gulcher Electric Light & Power Co. Ltd., £5 shares, 188[2], #655 together with Gulcher (New) Electric Light & Power Company Ltd., £1 shares, 18[88], #41, black. The Gulcher patents for electric lights were exhibited at the Paris Exposition and this company acquired the rights for the United Kingdom, reorganised after a few years with NEW added to the title, the latter being wound up in 1896.
