Great Britain: Plymouth Piers, Pavilion, and Saltash, Three Towns Steamship Co. Ltd., £1 ordinary shares, 19[39], #983, vignette of pier and pavilion, black, red seal. The company, originally formed in 1889, amalgamated with the Plymouth Promenade Pier Company under this new title and used the pier as its headquarters and as a landing stage for its steamers. It had a reasonably succesful career until the pier was bombed and destroyed during WWII. The company was wound up in the early 1950's. VF and rare.
