South Africa: Cape Stock Farming Co. Ltd., £100 share, 188[3], #826, issued to John Brown Evans manager of the company, scrollwork at left, black. Evans, acting as manager, imported Angora goats for the production of mohair, into the Cape. They produced far superior mohair to the native Cape goat but did not do well in the Cape climate. EF.
