Australia: Queensland National Bank Limited, Interminable Inscribed Deposit Stock certificate, London 189[7], #1944, arms top centre, black, pink underprint. The bank was formed in 1872 and acquired by the National Bank of Australasia in 1948. The bank briefly closed its doors during the 1893 Banking Crisis, making severe losses mostly due to land speculation. This stock was issued following a scheme of arrangement for its old liabilities. VF and rare.
