Great Britain: Leeds Banking Company, an early share certificate dated 18[34], attractive scrollwork at left, black, on vellum. Established by Deed of Settlement in 1833 and stopped payment in 1864 after being defrauded by a local firm of woollen merchants. VF and rare, first time seen by us.
