U.S.A: Hupp Motor Car Corporation, Specimen certificate for less than 100 shares, common stock, circa 1915, printed by the Republic Bank Note Co., allegorical female at top, olive green and black. Bobby Hupp organised the Hupp Motor Car Company in 1909 with Charles Hastings of Oldsmobile to produce the Hupmobile. In 1915 they acquired the American Gear Company and the reorganized as the Hupp Motor Car Corporation. Hupp had already left the company in 1911 after a dispute with Hastings. The company were one of the first to use all steel bodies and they were at the forefront of car production for many years until they filed for bankruptcy in 1940. AF and rare..
