(x) Portugal: Banco Nacional Ultramarino, 90$000 reis share, Lisbon 1913, #67523, steamship top centre, ornate border, blue and black, text in Portuguese and French, printed in London. This note issuing bank was formed in Lisbon in 1864 to operate throughout the many Portuguese Colonies. Nationalised in 1974 and merged in 2001 with Caixa Geral de Depósitos. although still operating under its original name in Macau where it still issues banknotes. GVF and quite scarce.
