Rhodesia: United Rhodesia Gold Fields Limited, a trio of certificates comprising £1 shares, nominative [1896], #6044, scrollwork at left, blue and bearer certificates for 10 shares, [1896], #C0014 and 25 shares, [1901], #E0197, both with ornate borders, black with blue and mauve underprints respectively, with coupons. A large company formed in 1894 to unite the Zambesia Exploring Co. Ltd., Exploring Land & Minerals Co. Ltd., Bulawayo Syndicate Ltd., Copenhagen (Mashonaland) Co. Ltd., Northumberland Mining Syndicate Ltd. and the Bembesi Syndicate Ltd.. The first VF, the bearer certificates a little grubby but F-VF and both rare (3).
