Japan: 5% Loan, Meiji 42 (1909), bond for 500 yen, Takeuchi Sukune at right, red and black, English translation on reverse, smaller format, no coupons. The design of bonds was changed half way through the issue of this very large loan and then continued mostly unchanged until the 1930's. VF and scarce.
