Rhodesia: Matabeleland Printing and Publishing Co. Ltd., £1 shares, Buluwayo 1895[6], #236, signed by Claud Grenfell as director, border and scrollwork, black, British South Africa Company revenue stamps at right. Claude Grenfell was from a very well known military family and served in the Matabele campaign in the Bulawayo Field Force in 1896. He volunteered during the Boer War, joining Thorneycroft's Mounted Infantry, and was killed at Spion Kop in 1900. No company information available. Uneven left edge, otherwise EF.
