Great Britain: Hammersmith Bridge Company, certificate for one share, [1824], #1208, black printing, on vellum, pink paper embossed seal at left. Incorporated by Act of 1824. The first suspension bridge to be built over the Thames. Replaced in 1887 by a new structure as the old was too weak for the increased traffic. GVF.
