Great Britain: Cunard Steam Ship Co. Ltd., 4½% Mortgage Debenture stock, certificate for [£200], 190[10], attractive 4 funnel steamer at top, possibly the Lusitania, blue, embossed seal at bottom. Founded in 1838 and has absorbed numerous companies during the last 150 years, including White Star. Together with Great Ship Company Limited, one share, 1859; Swansea Dock Company, £20 share, 18[47], and, Birmingham Canal Navigations, receipt dated 1835. VF -EF (4).
