Great Britain: Scarborough Queen's Parade Tramway Company Limited, £5 shares, 18[79], #4, black. A funicular tramway running from Queens Parade down to the Promenade Pier. Opened in 1878, operated by counterbalanced water tanks. Unfortunately on opening day a car broke free and crashed into the lower station. A series of other accidents happened during the next few years and it closed in 1887. AEF and rare.
