Great Britain: Exeter and Crediton Railway Company, £25 share, 1845, #2044, black with attractive blue embossed seal. A broad-gauge line linking the Bristol and Exeter Railway with the North Devon Railway in Crediton. It was leased to the Bristol and Exeter company, but later sold to the London and South Western Railway in 1879, and so was one of very few broad-gauge lines not included in the Great Western network. Rails were converted to mixed gauge shortly after. EF and scarce.
