1869 (14 June) envelope to London, marked "Via Bombay & Southampton", bearing ½a. and 2a. clearly cancelled by "B/156" obliterator, showing framed "india unpaid" with "un" deleted, oval "more/to pay", framed "Deficiency___/Fine__9d" with manuscript "1/2" alongside and, on reverse, despatch, Calcutta and arrival datestamps; the envelope with tear at centre top of face panel and a little ragged at edges in places.
