1857 (July) envelope to USA, bearing 1854 2a. tied by "B/156" obliterator in blue paying the Indian internal rate, showing framed "india unpaid" in blue with manuscript "1d" (deleted), "24" (the 1/- due to the UK) and "45" (cents collected on arrival), the cover also showing oval "francois burot & co/rangoon" oval cachet in blue with manuscript "forwarded" in centre. The envelope with some faults including tear at top and peripheral creases
