1898 Setting II, imperforate with control number and letter, or letters in plain relief on reverse, 1d. vermilion and deep ultramarine horizontal strip of five, each neatly cancelled by "fort johnston/b.c.a." on locally addressed and registered 1898 (17 May) envelope showing "R" in circle handstamp. A rare franking with very few of the registration handstamp recorded. S.G. 56.
