LIBERTE | EGALITE | ERIDANIA | wreath surrounding 20 FRANCS | L'AN 10 in three lines, 9.19g, 5h (Gad 845; DP 894; Gig. 2; Fb. 1172), neatly set in a rose-yellow metal frame with seven equidistant pearls, lightly wiped surfaces, otherwise much residual lustre, a bold very fine and a most charming Ladies' brooch incorporating a seldom encountered 19th Century Commemorative coin, of which only 8,437 were issued
