William and Mary (1688-1694), AR Coronation Medallet or Counter, 1689, crowned shield of arms with lion of Nassau added 'in pretence', resting on mantle, cherub supporters with medallions marked W and M, rev. a cross of four crowned WM monograms, central rose and floral device in angles, 31mm (MI 696/96), lightly toned, very fine, extremely rare, one listed in the British Museum and only one other traced by this cataloguer in commerce
