(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Half-Sovereign, 1870, 'Large 70', die number 7, rev. re-engraved shield, coarse border teeth, edge milled, 3.98g, 7h (Marsh 445A; MCE 590; Spink 3860), probably removed from ring mount with resultant brightness to obverse field and scuffing to rim, otherwise lustrous, a really bold very fine, the reverse extremely fine
