Rusape: Skeleton 26mm. datestamp with lettering 4½mm. high, two large part strikes on Small Arms 2½d. pair dated "ja 8/01"; very rare from this office formerly known as Lesapi which was closed by the 1896 Rebellion and which was re-opened at Fort Haynes and initially known as Rusapi though the first datestamp was spelt Rusape and this became the official spelling in 1902
