Royal Bank of Scotland Plc., a group of proofs for Robert Louis Stevenson £1, 24 February 1993, including two printer's design with Robert Louis Stevenson pen and quill design in green (issued note in mauve), reverse with Edinburgh Castle (issued note with Stevenson), one printer's design with pen and quill design in red, reverse Edinburgh Castle, (printer's design all with prefix B/91, not RLS as on issued examples), also a black and white obverse photograph with serial number RLS 00000001, two reverse progressive proofs,
(PMS RB94 for similar), all annotation 'PROOF' low left margin, two printer's design in PMG holders 66 EPQ Gem Uncirculated, others uncirculated. Also with two letters from DLR to RBS about the notes (6 notes)
