Bank of England, Abraham Newland, bank letters (2), a letter dated 12 January 1799, acknowledging receipt of 24 bills to be placed to the credit of the Royal Bank, manuscript signature of A Newland low right and the second letter dated 5 July 1800 referring to the receipt of 12 bills and signed by A Newland, both are addressed to William Simpson, Cashier of the Royal Bank in Edinburgh
first with split at left margin otherwise good very fine and unusual (2)
