Army L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. (1402658 Gnr. E. G. Millbank. R.A.), edge bruise, contact marks, very fine

George Ernest Millbank was born on 23 Oct 1887 and served with the Royal Garrison Artillery. He appears on the medal roll for this unit as further entitled to the General Service Medal 1918-62 with a clasp for Iraq, though his medal index card suggests he later served in North West Persia earning that clasp as well. He was listed as a deserter in 1921.
