Coenraad Frederik Pretorius stated his date of birth as 16 December 1893 at Marico, B.C., upon enlisting in the South African Police on 28 April 1917. He earned a 1914-15 Star Trio and the Africa Service Medal according to his Service Record; the Pair is sold as viewed and is also accompanied with other Service Records for potential recipients for the ABO Medal, if Pretorius did not falsify his birth date in 1917.
