General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Cyprus (23274467 Pte. H. D. C. Pickford. Wilts), good very fine

Harold D. C. Pickford was born in 1937 near Warminster and was a railway fireman before joining the Wiltshire Regiment. Serving with the Regiment in Cyprus, he joined the Support Company of the M.M.G. Platoon at Aghirda and was photographed as No. 2 on his gun in The Wiltshire Times in June 1956. He returned to live in Westbury; sold together with copied research.
