India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp, Afghanistan N.W.F. 1919 (301937 Gnr. R. Bradbury, R.G.A.), suspension slack, minor contact marks, very fine

Robert Bradbury was born at Mossley, Lancashire in 1889 where he worked as a Grocer. Enlisting on 9 December 1915, he served with the Royal Garrison Artillery for bulk of the Great War. Transferring to India, he arrived 11 June 1917 and was posted to 9 Mountain Battery on 19 July 1917 serving under Major Fooks. Here he saw service in Baluchistan, Afghanistan, Rawal Pindi and Bombay leaving India from Quetta on 14 July 1919. Further entitled to a British War and Victory Medal pair.
