Alfred Lapionte is confirmed on the roll serving with the 9th Battalion Voltigeurs de Quebec at Niagara from 12 November 1865 - 22 April 1866 in the 1866 Fenian Raid. Later seeing service again from 22 April - 4 May 1870 at Quebec for the 1870 Fenian Raid, his commanding officer in both cases was Lieutenant-Colonel Pauet. At the time of earning his clasps Lapionte was living at Healey Villa.
