Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Cape Colony, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (155 Tpr. A. Brown. Warren's M. I.), a late issue with fixed suspension, polished, nearly very fine

Abraham Brown was born in 1866, probably in the United States, for his wife was living in La Cross, Wisconsin at the time of his enlistment in Warren's Mounted Infantry in January 1901, when he was a shopkeeper. He was discharged at Cape Town in June 1902. His name appears on the Medal Roll for four other units: Scott's Railway Guards (No. 1920), Western Light Horse (No. 171), Worcester District Mounted Troops (No. 34) and Peninsula Horse (No. 1355).
