M.M. London Gazette 13 November 1918.
George Agar served in France from 24 March 1915, initially with the Hampshire Regiment and Northampton Regiment; his Royal Engineers service saw him as a member of a Light Railway Company whose job it was to run trains involved in transporting troops and ammunition between staging areas and the front lines.
