Anglo Saxon-England, Continental Phase (695-740), Sceat, Series E, Variety "G5", lettering across field, quilled crescent with triangular head enclosing pellet, ¹ below, lettering around, rev. ornate central ä (moneta?), ¹ below, letters around, 1.13g, 90° (SL 89-60 plate coin; SCBI 69, 217 this coin; Spink 790D), traces of surface porosity, otherwise accentuated by flares of bluish toned, in sharp relief, extremely fine and of the highest rarity with only three examples recorded
