A good collection of ALS and cut signatures most of which is material addressed to a Mr. Lacey, the then President of the M.C.C., and other pieces collected by the family; housed in two albums. Better items include 1867 Coutts cheque for £14.4.0 signed "Charles Dickens", 1899 cover (separated into front and back) addressed in Queen Victoria's hand, 1904 (17 Jan.) signed "Arthur Conan Doyle", "W.G. Grace" cut signature, 1907 (10 July) with interesting content suggesting that boys be hired to sell match cards at Lords, ALS from Wellington at Apsley House 1909 (7 April) ALS signed "W Ramsay" by William Ramsay, 1916 J.M. Barrie ALS with cover addressed in his hand, piece signed "Rudyard Kipling", ALS signed "Kitchener" to Bonar Law, three ALS signed "Jellicoe", among many others. A great group
