c.1798 part printed letter signed reading "I wish that you could send some Dejamas of the country toward Gazam to get information of the movements that Ibrahim Bez may make, and who, according to the latest reports which I have, is about a day's march from Gaza. If you learn anything of interest be careful to communicate it at once to the General commanding at Salenhieheh. I salute you. Bonaparte". Document affixed to page with some light adhesive residue showing around the edges and other minor faults. Signatures during the Egyptian Campaign are scarce.
