"The Trial of John Bishop, James May, and Th: Williams, For the Horrible Crime of Murdering Carlo Ferrari, A Poor Italian Boy, For the Purpose of Selling his Body for Dissection" featuring an illustration of Carlo Ferrari, Bishop's Residence and a plan of Bishop's house, printed by Smeeton, 74, Tooley Street.
Beginning "No trial that has ever taken place, whether in the Old Bailey, or any other court of judicature in this country, attracted more public attention, or excited a deeper feeling of interest in the minds of individuals, than the one we are about to record", followed by an account of the trial and evidence given. Some peripheral faults though generally fine. (250x380mm)
